Like most people I’ve been through a slew of ups and downs, horrible experiences, terrible times, really low lows, and some really high highs, but I’ve noticed something about the way others treat me through all of these - and how we react to others when they aren’t being positive, grateful, and “spreading love and light” all over social media.
Ferris Bueller hit the nail on the head when he said "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you might miss it."
The same applies for your own health & wellness and especially your self-care. Self-care is all over the place these days with images of bubble baths and meditations and while yes, those are important self-care is so much more!
It wasn't until this past year that I realized I was a highly sensitive person (or that that was a thing with a definition and nuances I could totally identify with). Feeling the emotions of others sounds nuts but if you're also an empath you'll know how draining it can be when you pick up on it constantly.
